Malay Vs. English

I wonder, does d word solemnization & reception really represents d word of nikah & sanding in malay respectively?? So i googled & found out d true meaning of these 2 words.

Nikah : Akad yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan lafaz nikah ataupun terjemahannya bagi membolehkan dan bersekedudukan di antara lelaki dan perempuan yang bukan mahram dalam ikatan kehidupan yang diredai Allah swt.

Solemnization : The public performance of a sacrament or solemn ceremony with all appropriate ritual; "the celebration of marriage".

Sanding : To sit ceremonially side by side on a dais.

Reception : Event in which guests are formally welcomed by their host.

There u go..2 different definitions for both languages. For me, i prefer to use d malay version. It clearly explains what d event is all about. For example reception, more suitable if d wedding was held at a hotel or a hall but if at home..sounds weird. Dat goes with solemnization..not dat appropriate to d actual meaning of nikah.

Juz my opinion though..not to be taken seriuosly k..peace..^ - *
